How Often Do You And Your Partner Agrue Over Money?

I hate to talk about money when it comes to talking about it with my partner! He can be tight with it and it drives me crazy! He's always been that way, but he does pay some bills. It's just when It comes to him giving me money when I need it then there goes a small agrument. Are you in this situation? How do you handle it?

Far to often. In fact we did it again today. I have up my career to stay home with our four kids. That means I gave up an income. Since then he keeps a VERY tight rein on the Murse (man purse) strings. He thinks I spend too much (last time I bought new shoes.. SIX MONTHS after walking 36.2 miles in the Avon Breast cancer walk). Yet he spends as he sees fit. We just got back from a blog conference in Vegas. He is now picking apart all my pre, post and during spending. It's going to be a LOVELY weekend!

I find it amazing that when money is not a problem, it's not even a thought, though when you need it, and don't have it, it becomes something I think about nearly all the time. Like a monkey on your back... without true value.
