I haven't used price matching yet. Most of the stores that I know that offer it have specific requirements. I haven't checked krazycouponlady but I do check chachingonashoestring.com and a few others.

yes, #2 is what I do almost every time, unless it's a better deal buying another brand.

If shopping in store, I use coupons, if shopping online I always check shop.com/btss it is like ebates, but they have everything...from Ann Taylor Loft to Nike. I just bought two pairs of Toms for under $60 with free shipping and they gave me a 5% off coupon as well as 5% more in "cashback"! Its fun to find deals on there. They have a cool easy thing to download so I don't miss online coupons called shop buddy! You should check it out!
