Girls getting eyeglasses?

 Have you moms found it a difficult or easy process in having your child transition into having glasses? Have you found that it effects your child's self esteem?

I actually had no problem with this when it came up.  My daughter wanted glasses.  She wanted these really cute ones.  Oddly enough so she could fit in.
