Any aspiring mommy novelists out there?
Hi all,
I'm a mum of four, and I've just published my first novel on Amazon, after spending my evenings for the last 2 years writing it.
The trouble is, Amazon don't seem to do anything to promote new books by unknown authors, so nobody knows it exists!
Anybody else tried their hand at novel writing? And if so, any tips?
My book is called Out Of The Mouths Of Babes by Sarah Pearce, and it's a lighthearted fictional novel, written to appeal to mums.
If anybody is interested in a look, it's available for the Kindle, ipad, iphone, Smartphone, Blackberry and Android. And it's £1.98 from Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com

I just looked at your book on Amazon and it looks intriguing - I'm a mom on the edge and know how Amy feels!
Yeah I've written quite a few books, some have sold a lot and some haven't! Mainly you start by getting book web sites to review the book and sales soon take off. Take a gander at my latest books and let me know what you think!

I've just downloaded the samples of the two novels you've listed above. I particularly like the look of Cocktails at Naptime - having a 7 month old baby myself. Will almost certainly end up buying that one.
I'll let you know what I think when I've finished the samples.

I finished the sample of 'Cocktails at Naptime' last night, and it made me laugh out loud at several points - definitely one I'll be reading. And I've started on 'Seductive Vienesse Whirl', which is looking fab too. Will let you know when I've finished reading them x

A few people have told me they've had trouble finding out how to download Out Of The mouths Of Babes. If you have a Kindle here's a link http://www.amazon.co.uk/Out-The-Mouths-Babes-ebook/dp/B008MRBPTI
If you're trying to down;oad to your ipad, iphone, Smartphone, Blackberry or android you need to download the Kindle app (which is free) and then you can use the link above.

I think it's great you can write a novel and even if you don't have the promotion you deserve, hey, you have accomplished a lot with publishing it. I write short stories but really would like to write a novel, I have one theme dancing in my head but I lack time. Mother of three with a profession very far from writing. I will check you novel in Amazon. Maybe you can get some promotion through the social networks, I am thinking Twitter or Facebook. Good luck!
