To help us all get ready for back to school, Bausch & Lomb and SocialMoms have teamed up to host a fun Twitter Party on August 2, 2012. We hope you can join us as we talk about preparing our families to go back to school and the importance of getting an eye exam before school starts, transitioning your tween or teen from glasses to contacts and more! Your child's eye development continues throughout childhood. Did you know that one in every four teenage students needs vision correction? The single best way to protect your child's vision is through regular, professional eye examinations. Back to school is the perfect time to get your child’s vision tested, especially because reports show that up to 80% of learning in the classroom is based on vision. For those struggling between glasses versus contacts, studies suggest that a transition from glasses to contact lenses can improve performance in the classroom and on the athletic field.
